Snownami at Silvercrest.

The Kings Hill Pass snowmaking machine is stuck in high gear and won’t quit. It snowed Saturday and Sunday most of the day on top of about 6 inches that accumulated last week . We tried to keep on top of it by grooming Friday and Saturday but there was too much coming down. And…by Wednesday, NOAA is predicting another 18 to 32 inches. 100 % chance of snow from Sunday night straight to Wednesday night. Temperature’s in the mid 20s for President’s day and Tuesday. We are not planning on grooming until Friday. Backcountry skis would work great on the trails but cold (-9) is predicted starting Wednesday. Pre existing classic tracks were still usable Sunday but they will be gone soon. Check road and weather conditions if you are thinking about going up. Driving visibility and snow packed road conditions were an issue Sunday.
