Reports are of a decent skating surface Thursday from Chuck. Temps predicted to be a high of 60 F Friday. We will wait till Saturday morning to do some experimental grooming as temps on Saturday will be in the mid 30’s. Sunday..29F. Monday 26F. We’ll see what mother nature will let us do.

If you have noticed… there is a nice comfort addition at the trailhead. We have added an eight foot bench to make putting on and taking off ski boots and snowshoes a lot easier and relaxing after burning up the calories. The bench was purchased by owners Doug and Theresa Ormseth at Short Grass Web Development. This is a memorial bench for an employee of theirs who skied the trails at Silvercrest and like all of us…found some solice and quiet time on the snow. We will add a plaque to the bench in the future. THANKS ! to Doug and Theresa for their thoughtful annual financial and bench donations !
