SCTA volunteers put in a big effort to get the trees removed from the trails this weekend. It took two days but all trails are cleared now. There are two big leaning trees ( Gold Run & Homestake Meadow that will have to be taken down later) Be aware of them please. Approx. 40-50 trees removed. Good thing because winter is arriving Sunday up there. Predicted 2-4 in. Sunday, 5-9 in. Sunday night, 3-7 in. Monday. Total of 10-20 in. possible by Monday night. We will make a grooming plan asap. Another beautiful Saturday with 30 plus vehicles in the parking lot !

Trees are down on the snowshoe trails also.
