It could not have been better at Silvercrest than it was Saturday and Sunday for getting outdoors. Skiing conditions were warm temps and great grooming courtesy of Jeff Kinnick ( Kings Hill Grooming Assoc.) and  Jake Parchen.  Groups of people from G.F.,  Helena, Bozeman and elsewhere showed up in force. A great crowd with twenty plus cars in the parking lot. Thanks to Matt and Jamie Johnson and Lynn Compton for their generous recent donations to keep the trails groomed !  And thanks to all our donors for the 2019-2020 ski season. Your donations pay for all aspects of trail grooming…KHGA time, contract groomer wages, machine purchases ( John Deere Gator, Arctic Cat Bearkat ) machine repairs and maintenance costs, grooming equipment ( rollers, track setters ) tools, chain saws, gas, etc..   SCTA board members also volunteer many hours to groom.  A couple of skiers have inquired about volunteering next year to groom mid week. We would like to do that, so if you are interested, we can make it happen.
