Silver Crest Trails Association

Silvercrest Trails members spent Friday and Saturday packing new snow and tree removal. Most of the trail system (not all ) has been gone over with the roller and ginzu. There are classic tracks set through most of the trails except Neihart Flyer and Homestake Meadow. Quality of the tracks varies. Skating is not recommended yet. The parking lot is plowed and in good condition. Up to 7 inches of snow is predicted for Saturday night until Sunday evening so those tracks could be gone by tomorrow. There were several people up skiing and snowshoeing today ! We do not plan on grooming Sunday (8th). Hopefully Jeff can get the KHGA Pisten Bully in asap and flatten out the trails. More snow needed !
