Silver Crest Trails Association volunteers spent a sunny October weekend day clearing brush & debris from the ski trails, preparing them for the nordic ski grooming season. There was 2 inches of new snow, conditions were good to excellent from about 10am to 1:00pm. The base is quite firm and there is good coverage. Catch while you still can!

Although the weather has made grooming rather difficult for the past week or two, the trails are still in pretty good shape. With the fluctuating temperatures during the day, conditions can vary from icy to soft. Good conditions were reported between 11 am and 1:30 Pm over the weekend. Looks…
