A Big Blue Bus of skiers and snowshoers found a couple inches of new snow at Silvercrest on Leap Day. All trails were groomed and track-set after they left, so it is ready for mid-week skiers.

Lots of animals are using the trails. Someone was following me around on the groomer, putting prints down on top of the groomed portions, too. A stalker! All the trails are groomed and track-set, though the hardened snow means some of the ski tracks are pretty shallow. Come on up…

Around six inches of heavy wet snow fell on Sunday and Monday, making it hard to achieve the perfect, picturesque corduroy without clumping, but it IS groomed and track-set. Come on up and practice for the race on Saturday.

The snowmobile groomer did not come by last night (check out the tracking website here:grooming gps ), but our own Ginzu did a nice job laying a fresh track on the trace of new snow. Bring your violet wax for weekend skiing!

A couple of inches of new snow was groomed by the snowmobile groomer Thursday night, and Friday morning we set tracks.   Thursday was a sunny, warm ski day, with bobcat tracks littering the ski tracks. Thursday night the big groomer came through, and Friday morning we groomed new ski tracks all the way around Silvercrest. Come and look for new bobcat tracks!

Five inches of new snow fell after a very successful Learn to Ski Clinic on Saturday. The trails are all groomed and track-set and ready to enjoy this week!
