A There’s still a firm base, but the edges of the trails are starting to get thin. Tracks have been set, but they only “took” in certain areas. Plenty of room to skate ski. All trails except for Wu Tang have been groomed. Enjoy!

Eight inches or so fell today. It was hard to groom due to the warmth of the snow, but there’s track laid all around the D trail, and all the other trails have been rolled. A big coyote was snooping around, leaving paw prints nearly as big as my palm.

  You flatlanders are missing out! We got 6-8 inches of new snow over the last few days up here in the mountains, and conditions for skiing and snow shoeing are well-nigh on perfect. Every trail is groomed and track-set for you, and that ain’t no April Fool’s joke.  

There were bunny tracks all over the trails this morning….. The newly groomed snow on all the trails seems attractive to a certain type of bunny! Come spend Easter at Silvercrest; the snow is fabulous!

Conditions are superb today! The big groomer went through Silvercrest last night, and then a few inches of snow fell on that. Track has been laid  with our little groomer on all the trails. Come and enjoy!

March is coming in like a lamb, but it still isn’t warm enough to melt the snow. It is too hard packed to put down tracks, but not too hard for the ginzu groomer to fluff up the surface a bit. Come on up and enjoy it while it lasts!
