Thanks to Jake !… for setting classic tracks today ( Friday ). High temps of 39 F for Saturday and 29 F for Sunday. Nice skiing temp ! Possibly….. our last grooming of the year. Never say never though.

We set new classic tracks and they turned out nice. Early morning they are hard but softening and very skiable mid morning. By late afternoon very soft snow. The parking lot is a variety of mud, water, hard pack and ice.

We will attempt to set some classic tracks Saturday morning and see what happens. Friday reports of decent skiing conditions. If you come, bring your sunscreen ! Plenty of snow still. No guarantee’s on skiing quality…. what you see is what you get ! Happy Easter from Silvercrest Trails Association…

Jake and Chuck plan on grooming the trails Friday (26th) in the afternoon. They might have to pack it first with the rollers. We don’t know yet what conditions are like or how many inches of new white stuff there is. We’ll do our best to get new tracks set…

We regroomed Saturday evening and the trails are in great shape for skate and classic skiing. Sunday… Cold in the early morning but warming to the mid 20’s late morning and low 30’s by afternoon. The trails are hard/icy in the mornings but softening late mornings/ early afternoon. A nice…

No new snow this week so the Pisten Bully will not go thru. Jake will set tracks Friday evening and groom as needed. Maybe a couple of inches new snow predicted for Friday night. Saturday and Sunday high temps will be in the mid 30’s. Ski while you can !

The KHGA big groomer will go through our trails Thursday evening with plans to set classic tracks Saturday morning. Reports of 6-7 inches new snow this week. Trails conditions are difficult to predict due to warm days and cold nights.

We’ll try grooming Saturday a.m and see what conditions will allow us to do. Hopefully we’ll be able to get some classic tracks in if its not too hard. Either way we’ll wait till it softens up and give it our best effort. More snow and cooler early next week…
