We have (most) of the trees off the trails now except on the Mt Eureka section. There are about 17 trees of varying sizes still there mostly in the warming hut area. The rest of the trail system has been cleared with the exception of Gold Run. We haven’t checked that trail yet. We cleared out about 30 trees today. Thanks to volunteers Rose Handl and John Cordich for their much appreciated hard work today ! Also Silver Crest board members Mary C and Gary R for their time and effort. Now we need to reset classic ski tracks and start leveling the trails as best we can. The trails are well packed now if you want to get out there and ski but still not in great shape yet. Beware of the parking lot if you have a sedan or low clearance vehicle. Our parking lot hasen’t been plowed recently and people have been getting stuck. I would suggest you park parallel to the dog sled area on the plowed snow area but not in the soft, deeper snow area. Larger trucks and 4 WD SUV’s have been doing ok in our parking area.

Thanks everyone !

Bob
