Its getting interesting up there. Saturday morning saw 7 to 8 inches of new snow that fell on top of the 5 from the previous day. Jake thought he had the trails packed and ready Friday evening. The parking lot wasen’t plowed until early morning with the driver clearly frustrated with having to deal with all the white stuff again. We rolled one pass and set duel classic tracks. Skiing was very pleasant with soft but firm tracks and mid 20’s temps. Skating was not possible due to deep and soft snow. Sunday will see 3-5 inches daytime and 3-7 inches night. Monday 2-4 inches day and 1-3 night. Tuesday 1-2 inches. We can’t predict our grooming plans long term yet due to having a mechanical problem with the Can Am. We are planning on having it looked at in town for a few days. We are looking at options to get this weeks snowfall packed and at least set some classic tracks. We will be there Sunday mid morning to possibly pack depending on how much new snow falls overnight. We will keep posting as more information develops.
