We are planning to have all the trails open this weekend for classic and skate skiers. After the big storm Sunday night dumped over 12 inches on our trails, we repacked Tuesday and now have a pretty good base of 20 inches or more. Plans are to have the Kings Hill Grooming Association ( Thanks guys ! ) come in Thursday night to level and pack with their Pisten Bully. We will follow up Friday morning and afternoon with classic track setting. Be aware that 89er trail still has some rocks under the surface in 2 areas.
Right now the weather is predicted to be; 32 F for Friday, 37 F for Saturday, 32 F for Sunday. Those are highs in the afternoon so bring some wax for colder in the morning and warmer later in the day. You can check the weather yourself on the NOAA site. Type in ” Onion Park ” for the location.
We are planning on our annual free ski clinic January 11th also. More on that later.
