Silver Crest Trails Association

We had our annual trails maintenance work day recently ( Oct 12 ). A big thanks to volunteers Michele Miranti, Cheryl Miller and Rose DeFrancisci for coming up and contributing their time and muscles to keep Silvercrest in shape. Also helping out were board members Mary, Chuck, Colin, Bob ( and Sally ). It was a beautiful day as usual in the Little Belts. We accumulated about 30 hours of required trail work for our grant cycle. We will need 60 more during the winter to reach our goal by April.

We got the problem spots trimmed out on Homestake Meadows and Silverdyke. Thanks to Colin for leading our volunteers through those areas. We also sawed out two downed trees with more that need to be cleared before it snows.

Thanks to Misty at the 10th ave south Subway for getting lunch ready. She did a great service for us by making everything fresh early in the morning and getting everything organized.
