Silvercrest Trails was the place to be last weekend. Best weekend yet. We didn’t get much new snow this week but we are still going to Pisten Bully groom it Thursday night and Jake is going to set tracks late Friday afternoon. NOAA predicts a breezy/windy weekend with high temps in the mid 30’s for Friday and Saturday. 39F for a high on Sunday. Early next week will see a change with colder temps and more snow.
Just some quick information on our Moonlight Ski Saturday night. There probably won’t be a full moon to see because it will be mostly cloudy that night so bring your best headlamp. Try to be there at 7:30 pm to get your gear situated and we will try to start skiing at 8:00 pm. You will need to sign in and sign a waiver form. When you return to the traihead please check out with us so we know everyone is back safely. We will have two loops to choose from. 2.5 miles and 5 miles. We’ll also have a fire and social gathering at the Silverdyke warming hut. More details will be at the trailhead.
