Silver Crest Trails Association

Its good news/bad news at Silver Crest.

Good news is we have been working hard to get the trails skiable without Pisten Bully grooming, probably like a lot of places. We got a decent snowfall a few days ago and today so we were able to get a skate lane packed on most of the trails along with pre-existing classic tracks. Quality of the skate lane varies depending on locations. Generally the south side trails are better . 89er still has rocks just under the surface in two locations. Gold Run also has some rocks at the upper end. Quicksilver also has a small area of rocks. More good news is we could see 7 to 14 inches of new snow by Saturday morning according to NOAA.

Bad news is the weather..Wednesday high of 17 F. Thursday… 2 F. Friday…-17 F Saturday… -9 F. Sunday..-5 F Monday..4 F.
